- FORMS of PAYMENT
- We accept the following forms of payment; Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and checks. Verde Home requires a completed and executed authorization form for any credit card provided over the phone or via email. Checks may be sent to: Verde Home, 999 Brady Ave, Ste 4, Atlanta, GA 30318
- A $75 fee for a returned check will be added to the unpaid invoice.
- A Fulton County, Georgia sales tax of 8.9% will be collected with each (no tax exempt) purchase. Tax Exemptions require a state resale tax certificate (sales tax ID).
- PAYMENT TERMS
- Payment is required at point of sale and prior to delivery for all merchandise. A 50% deposit is required on all custom orders. This deposit is non-refundable. Remaining balance payment is due prior to delivery/pick up of all orders. All orders of Lamps and Accessories, and select special order furniture/rugs, may require payment in full to place an order.
- Warehoused items and backorders will be charged upon shipment unless otherwise noted.
- A reviewed and accepted sales order agreement must be signed to place an order and start production. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the order for correctness before order is placed.
- ORDER CANCELLATIONS
- Changes may not be made once the deposit is placed.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- RETURN POLICY
- All Sales are Final unless stated otherwise.
- Buyer’s Remorse: We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse.
- Approved Returns: In certain exceptional circumstances where a return is granted, item must be first quality in original packing, and a re-stocking fee of 20% will apply. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned items must be received back at the Verde Home showroom or specified warehouse, in good condition. All returns are subject to inspection by Verde Home before acceptance. Customer must ensure any return is packed sufficiently to avoid damage on the return trip. We recommend that you save the original packing materials. It is customer’s responsibility for any cost involved in return of item(s).
- Merchandise will be exchanged for a store credit (no refunds).
- Verde Home does not accept returns on Farrow & Ball Paint or Wallpaper, or any Custom/Made to Order items.
- Return Policy for Jaipur Living Rugs
- Program Rugs:
Jaipur Living offers a 60-day return period from the date you receive your rug. To be eligible for a full refund, minus a 15% restocking fee, the rug must be returned in its original condition and packaging (or equivalent). To initiate a return, please fill out the Return Inquiry form provided at the designated link. We recommend that you obtain a tracking number and insure the shipment, as we do not cover the cost of return shipping. - One-of-a-Kind and Vintage Rugs
We do not accept returns on one-of-a-kind items or vintage rugs. - Rug Samples:
We offer a 90-day return period from the date you receive your sample for a full refund. To initiate a return, please use the Return Inquiry form available at the specified link. Please note that the cost of return shipping is not covered by us. - Pillows, Poufs, Throws, and Rug Pads:
Jaipur Living does not accept returns on pillows, poufs, throws, or rug pads. - Clearance and Discontinued Items:
Returns are not accepted on clearance or discontinued items, as these are usually sold at a significant discount. - Repackaging Rugs:
It is imperative that returned rugs arrive back to us in their original condition to process your credit. - Credit Issuance:
Credits, minus any applicable fees (excluding freight), will be issued to your account once the returned item is received and inspected at Jaipur Living. For prepay account holders requesting a refund, please contact our accounting department via email at ar@jaipurliving.com.Please ensure all returns are properly packaged and shipped with tracking and insurance to avoid disputes regarding damaged returns.
- Program Rugs:
- CLAIMS ON SHIPPED GOODS: VERDE HOME MAY NOT REPLACE A DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT UNLESS THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES ARE COMPLETED:
- All claims with supporting photos must be filed via the Return Authorization Request Form
- A claim for shipping damages will not be accepted unless the damages are noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt. Freight/Handling damage, including damage evident on outside packaging, must be noted on carrier’s proof of delivery.
- All damages must be reported within 2 days after receipt of delivery for a claim to be processed. A claim may not be processed unless relevant photos of any damage and/or defects are also submitted.
- If requested, damaged or defective products must be properly packaged and ready for pick-up within 7 days, otherwise the replacement invoice will be considered due and payable.
- SAVE ALL PACKAGING UNTIL THE CLAIM IS RESOLVED. If packaging is not retained, repackaging will be at the customer’s expense.
- Verde Home will issue an appropriate credit to the account or send replacement upon authorized return of defective or damaged product.
- If shipment damage indicators (for example, Shock Watch triggered or punctured and crushed boxes) are on the items and they indicate damage, damage must be noted on the BOL at the time of receipt and signed by carrier. If not, Verde Home reserves the right to deny the claim.
- DAMAGED ORDERS
- Customer must allow Verde Home to assess repairing any damage onsite before returning an item. Customer must allow Verde Home to assess size/color/quality discrepancies against manufacturer’s purchase order and/or quality samples.
- Items that are defective or damaged by shipping may be exchanged after claims have been processed and accepted.
- In rare circumstances there may be concealed damage (not as a result of shipping) that was not identified in quality control. We require that any product be unboxed within 2 days of receipt and a claim filed promptly.
- FULLFILLMENT ERRORS
- If there was a fulfillment error, Verde Home must be notified promptly within 3 days of receipt of the shipment.
- Incorrect items must be returned in first quality condition in their original packaging, and the correct item will be shipped promptly.
- REFUSAL OF A SHIPMENT: Refusal of a shipment by the end-customer/client for any reason (not caused by shipping damage) will incur a 25% restocking fee and additional freight charges.
- CUSTOM ORDERS
- A 50% deposit is required on all custom orders prior to beginning production. This deposit is non-refundable. Remaining balance payment is due prior to delivery/pick up of all orders.

- Customer is responsible for ensuring that all items ordered will fit as intended. Verde Home is not responsible for appropriate delivery access at the customer’s receiving site and will give no refunds if access is denied or the item does not fit as expected.
- LEAD TIMES
- Lead times provided by Verde Home are based on our best estimation of combined manufacturing and transit time. Customer understands that these are only estimates and that circumstances may arise which are outside of the control of Verde Home and may extend these estimates. Extended lead times are not considered cause for discount or order cancellation. Stated lead times do not always include transit times and will be stated as such on the Sales Order.
- DELINQUENT PAYMENT
- Unpaid invoices after 15 days from due date (delivery or pick-up date) will be assessed a finance charge of 5% per month. Customer is responsible for all collection fees that may be incurred while collecting delinquent payments.
- APPROVALS
- Select items can be taken out on Approval for 2 business days unless a written extension by a Verde Home representative is issued. All items must be returned in the same condition as when taken and will be assessed by Verde Home upon return. Items held out for longer than 5 business days will be considered purchased, will be billed in full and all sales final.
- Approvals for Jaipur Living Rug through Verde Home
- Approval Period:
Select rugs (as determined by management) may be taken out for approval for a period not exceeding five (5) days. - Credit Card Hold:
A credit card hold will be placed on the customer’s credit card for the full value of the rugs taken out for approval. This hold is not a charge but an authorization for the amount specified. - Return Condition:
The rugs must be returned in the same condition as they were taken out. Any damage, stains, or other alterations will result in charges to cover the cost of repair or replacement, up to the full value of the rug(s). - Failure to Return:
If the rugs are not returned by the specified return date, the full value of the rugs will be charged to the customer’s credit card. - Inspection:
All rugs will be inspected upon return. Any discrepancies or damages will be documented and communicated to the customer. - Customer Responsibility:
The customer assumes full responsibility for the care and custody of the rugs while in their possession. This includes ensuring the rugs are kept in a clean, safe, and secure environment.
- Approval Period:
- WARRANTY
- Verde Home does not offer any performance guarantees beyond what is offered by each individual Manufacturer’s Warranty. If no express warranty is stated none should be implied.
- SHIPPING
- Selamat Orders ship as available and may split ship from two warehouse locations.
- Standard LTL Shipping is 15% of invoice total (minimum of $200)
- Ground shipping (small parcel shipments) is 25% of invoice total (minimum of $50);
- Excludes mirrors ($75 min) + oversized lighting ($175 min)
- Deliveries requiring special handling (i.e. lift gate, advance calls, etc.) may incur additional fees and are in addition to freight charges.
- You may opt to provide your own shipping account.
- Trade Accounts must provide the name and address of a furniture receiver upon registration.
- Farrow & Ball paint and papers may be picked up in store free of charge or shipped direct to the customer (charges apply). Please note that Farrow & Ball requires an adult signature for all deliveries, no exceptions.
- Freight and Local delivery fees are calculated and charged before the final invoice is paid. Long distance/Out of state delivery fees must be determined by quote and paid in full, in advance, without exception.
- Selamat Orders ship as available and may split ship from two warehouse locations.
- LOCAL DELIVERY
- Local in-home delivery is available on a case-by-case basis.
- Customer is responsible for ensuring that all elevators, stairwells, corridors, and doorways will permit normal delivery of items ordered. Verde Home is not responsible for appropriate delivery access at the customer’s receiving site and will give no refunds if access is denied. Customer will be subject to a re-delivery charge, and storage fee if any product is brought back to our warehouse because of undeliverable site conditions.
- For furniture delivery in Atlanta, GA and surrounding suburbs, Verde Home can assist in scheduling with a third-party white glove professional moving service unless otherwise agreed to and stated on order.
- Customers are welcome to personally schedule deliveries with another service if they so choose. The selected delivery service is responsible for all items while in their possession. All merchandise sent to a clients preferred shipper or receiving warehouse must be inspected upon arrival. Any damage must be noted by the receiver and reported to Verde Home within 2 business days of arrival date. After 2 days all items will be considered acceptable within All Sales Final terms.
- All items under 150 lbs. that can be shipped through UPS or FEDEX may be fully insured with the purchase of optional shipping insurance. If the optional shipping insurance is not purchased by receiver/buyer, any damage claims that may occur will need to be filed by the receiver/buyer directly to UPS or FEDEX.
- Customers must examine order upon delivery to ensure that there are no visible signs of damage, missing or incorrect pieces. If there are missing, damaged or incorrect shipments, customer must contact Verde Home and report issues within 2 days of receipt of merchandise. If Verde Home is not contacted within 2 days, then items are considered accepted within All Sales Final contract terms.
- When a local delivery order is complete and customer is notified, the customer has 5 business days to schedule home delivery or the pick-up of the merchandise or a storage fee of $35.00 per item will be enforced each week for up to 2 months. After 2 months, if all storage fees have been paid, the item(s) must be scheduled for delivery, at the customer’s expense, to either the customer’s residence or another storage facility of their choice. If after 2 months, the storage fees have not been paid, the item(s) become the property of Verde Home and all previous payments remain non-refundable.
- PRODUCT VARIATION
- The client understands Verde Home sells artisan made unique products and as such acknowledges that natural variations may be expected in the products. Certain distress marks or inconsistencies are often part of the design of the product and should not be considered damage.
- Size Variation: All hand-made rugs have some degree of size variability. Please note that a handmade rug can expand or contract during production and, as such, rug dimensions may be plus or minus 5% from specified dimensions. Such variations are not a basis for a defect claim.
It is also required to add a minimum of 5% to the width and length of all rugs to be inset in order to allow for proper installation. The overage is to insure that the rugs will fit the specified area and provides the on-site installer the necessary cushion to install the pattern uniformly. - Color / Finish: All Verde Home rugs, upholstery, and painted furniture are made to order and therefore will have some color variation between dye lots. These variations are what makes each piece unique and should be expected. Such variations are not a basis for a defect claim.
- Rug Shedding: For a limited duration after a rug has been newly manufactured, it will shed loose fibers. This is known as “pilling”. This is a normal occurrence and not a basis for a defect claim. It is recommended that you vacuum your rug periodically to remove any shedding fibers. How long this process will continue varies depending on the rug and its usage.
- Raised Rug Fibers: During the pilling process of a rug, some individual fibers within the rug may also become unwound and raised above the rug surface. This is naturally occurring phenomenon in rugs. These fibers may be safely snipped with scissors to the same level as the general carpet surface. Raised fibers are not a basis for a defect claim.
- Screen / Print Variance: Every screen displays color differently and therefore Verde Home assumes no liability for variations between the actual product coloring and how it is displayed on a screen or printed catalog.

- GENERAL
- All orders are accepted subject to standard Terms and Conditions. All sales are final.
- Verde Home reserves the right to refuse any order.
- Verde Home reserves the right to periodically change Terms+ Conditions without prior or written notice.
- Verde Home reserves the right to modify prices, products and/or product components without prior written notice.
- The “Selamat”, “Morris+ Co. x Selamat,” , “Florence Broadhurst x Selamat” , “American Leather”, “Jaipur Living”, and “Farrow & Ball” name and marks are the exclusive property of our vendors. These marks may not be used in or with the name of any other business (specifically including, but not limited to, use of the name and marks without prior notice and written consent).
